Operation Christmas Child

Since 1993, Samaritan’s Purse has provided an Operation Christmas Child shoebox gift to more than 220 million children in over 170 countries and territories. Local ministry partners hand out these tangible expressions of God’s love at child-friendly, Gospel-focused outreach events. Operation Christmas Child is a project of Samaritan’s Purse, an international relief organization led by Franklin Graham. Since 1970, Samaritan’s Purse has helped people in need around the world in Jesus’ Name. In Acts 1:8, Jesus said, “And you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” The mission of Operation Christmas Child is to demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way to children in need around the world, and together with the local church worldwide, to share the Good News of Jesus Christ and make disciples of the nations. ou too can send Good News and great joy as part of a joint effort with churches around the world.
