WNC HURRICANE RELIEF
We are mobilizing to support our neighbors in need! This Sunday, October 6th at 1:00 PM, a team from First Methodist Church Morehead City will head to Plains Global Methodist Church in Canton, NC to set up a relief response location.
Our team is preparing to serve over 2,400 meals on Monday and Tuesday and will be collecting the following essential items to deliver:
Cleaning supplies - Food staples - Fuel containers for generators -Charcoal - Shovels - Work gloves - Contractor trash bags
Items can be dropped off at the church between now and Sunday. We’re also bringing the 600 toiletry bags that our youth packed. If you’d like to help, please consider donating to the WNC Hurricane Relief Fund at First Methodist Church. Please make checks payable to First Methodist Church with WNC Hurricane in the memo field. We’ll be returning on Tuesday morning with plans to make additional return trips. Thank you for your support!
